Kilmac have been awarded the contract by Hadden Construction to carry out the Civil Engineering elements of a new housing development for Hillcrest Housing Association at Pigeon Row, Crieff. The scheme is 100% affordable and provides 27 units in total comprising a range of 2 & 3 bedroomed properties. The site was previously used as an allotment, and tree-felling along with some demolition shall take place in advance of Kilmac’s works commencing on-site. The proposed layout of the site shall be open-planned based, featuring a shared surface route with different final finishing of tar surfacing and block paviour finishing, with a combination of footpaths and grassed service strips between the road alignment and plot boundaries. As well as the formation of the new site entrance from the main carriageway, there will also be a link formed to the existing McNee Place.
