POSITION SUMMARY AND PURPOSE

As a Graduate Civil Engineer, you will be an integral part of our engineering team, working on a variety of projects from conception to completion. This role is designed for recent graduates who are passionate about civil engineering and eager to apply their academic knowledge to real-world challenges. You will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to projects that shape the built environment.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assisting with the preparation of documentation relating to projects;
  • Participating in the identification and resolutions of technical issues;
  • Actively seek new and innovate design methods and solutions;
  • Maintain all necessary project data and information;
  • Liaise and coordinate with other engineers and contractors on site;
  • Cover all aspects of setting out on site
  • Preparing drawings, specifications, reports and other project documentation as required;
  • Planning and implementation of site investigations;
  • Problem solving on a day-to-day basis;
  • Ensuring that the sites meet all the legal, health and safety guidelines;
  • Checking drawings and designs & keeping drawing registers up to date
  • Undertaking 2/3D modelling on AutoCAD

QUALIFICATIONS/KEY SUCCESS FACTORS

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Strong academic background with a focus on civil engineering.
  • Proficient in engineering software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and structural analysis programs.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.

  • The job operates from site.
