Merry Christmas Toy Story at Kilmac

Posted on December 14, 2023

BIG hearted Kilmac staff are giving Santa Claus a helping hand.

Our 165-strong team have dug deep to support the Cash for Kids Mission Christmas appeal.

Dozens of toys, games and electrical items have been gathered for the appeal to ensure struggling families across Tayside and Fife will enjoy some welcome Christmas cheer.

“It is a great cause and it’s fantastic that Kilmac staff have been so generous,” said marketing manager Lauren Pratt.

“Everyone has got involved, including office staff and the guys out on our various building sites.

“They have handed in gifts galore and also donated cash online.

“We have been taken aback by just how many presents have been piling up under the Christmas tree at the Gemini Crescent headquarters in recent days.

“The charity, which is supporting families in our traditional Tayside and Fife hinterland, will be getting a huge range of toys, games, dolls, footballs and even hairdryers for boys and girls in the three to 12 age group.

“Obviously a lot of families are struggling to make ends meet this year because inflation has seen their heating and shopping bills soaring.

“The Kilmac team has really bought into our ethos of supporting deserving causes in our local communities.

“I’m sure the Mission Christmas appeal has pulled on the heartstrings, and they have rallied round to ensure families less fortunate than themselves have a present or two for the kids to open on Christmas Day.

“We can’t thank the staff enough for being so generous with their support.”
