Kilmac are delighted to announce that we are supporting Monifieth Parish Church by allowing them to use our premises free of charge from July - September.
Monifieth Parish Church has run a book and bake event in Monifieth for lots of years in different places but none have been suitable this year.
Then Kilmac stepped in.
Monifieth Parish Church get regular visits from the caravaners as well as locals who have been their supporters for many years.
It is a good place to meet people, except COVID has knocked that on the head this year.
The baking is sold outside the church on Saturdays.
It is like a charity shop selling basically anything in good condition, but not clothes.
This raises money to be used for various things in our new church building.
They are open Monday, Wednesday and Saturday 10am-4pm and have been running July and August and will run to end of September.
Without the support of Kilmac allowing to use the shop this year they wouldn’t have been able to run and raise money so it has helped brilliantly.
Kilmac remain very happy to support such a worthy cause that whilst raising funds also gives an opportunity for the community to get together in a safe environment following the restrictions placed on everyone during COVID. A real wee tonic for the area. Well done to everyone involved.
