We’re proud to be supporting the Beacon Schools Programme in partnership with Sunbelt Rentals UK & Ireland—a UK-wide initiative designed to open clear, practical routes into construction and plant rental careers for young people aged 16–18.
The programme, designed by Sunbelt Rentals, bridges the gap between education and industry through hands-on workshops, site insight, employability training and real-world experience, helping students understand the breadth of careers available, from project management to on-site delivery.
This marks Sunbelt Rentals first Beacon Schools Programme in Scotland, with Baldragon Academy selected to take part. Kilmac is delighted to be involved, particularly as the subcontractor that delivered the groundworks package for the school—making this partnership especially meaningful.
