We are delighted to announce that Kilmac has secured the contract from Dundee City Council to undertake enhancement works to the Seven Arches Viaduct. This significant achievement is part of the LOT 3 Civils Framework, showcasing our commitment to delivering high-quality projects.
The project includes a range of improvements, including vegetation removal, replacement of the bridge deck wearing course, repointing of the bridge, and the restoration of missing arch stones. Additionally, any adjacent trees posing a challenge to the structure will be expertly cut back.
Recognising the importance of public safety, comprehensive diversion plans will be implemented throughout the duration of the project. These measures are designed to minimise disruptions and ensure the well-being of the community.
The works are set to kick off in February 2024 with a completion date set for April 2024.
At Kilmac, we are grateful to contribute to the preservation and improvement of such a vital piece of infrastructure. Our team is committed to delivering excellence, and we look forward to showcasing the transformation of the Seven Arches Viaduct over the course of this project.
