Kilmac Employee awarded by Robertson Tayside

The directors at Kilmac were delighted that one of their employees, JC Burns-Hamilton was awarded a green card on site.

Robertson said "

We write with reference to the work your company is carrying out at our project at Muirfield P.S. which is being managed by Douglas Jack.

Our vision for Health and Safety has led to us introducing our behavioural safety programme in association with Proud2bSafe and we ask all operatives on site to consider safety as everyone’s responsibility.

John Charles Burns Hamilton, a representative of your company, has supported this initiative by showing a pro-active approach to community liaisons having spoken to an elderly local resident regarding a couple of concerns she had about the site. John has twice now come to the Robertson management team directly and the matters have been resolved with the resident. In recognition of Johns’ intervention, our site team has issued a green card which documents their positive action but could have a greater impact where reinforced by you and / or your management team by recognising this as well.

We believe that your input will support us in creating a sustained and open culture in accordance with our safety vision.

Thanking you and your team for your positive approach to safety. "
