Kilmac Awarded Contract for M80 Motorway Junction 7 Works

We are pleased to announce that Kilmac Ltd has been appointed to undertake major construction works on the on and off slip roads at M80 Motorway Junction 7, Haggs. These roadworks are essential to support future housing development on a number of sites in close proximity to the project, enabling improved access and infrastructure for the upcoming residential area.

The contract, awarded by I&H Brown Ltd and MacTaggart & Mickel Homes Limited, will be delivered under the NEC4 Contract, demonstrating Kilmac’s expertise in infrastructure projects and collaboration with leading developers.

Scope of Works

Kilmac will deliver a range of construction services, including:

• Formation of a Swale: To manage surface water drainage efficiently.
• Demolition: Removal of existing structures to facilitate new works.
• Earthworks: Preparing the land and reshaping it as required.
• Drainage and Rising Main Works: Ensuring effective water management.
• Ducting and Services: Laying underground utilities.
• Cold Milling, Kerbing, and Road Construction: Key elements of the new road network.
• Fencing and Guardrails: For the safety and security of road users.
• Traffic Management: Minimizing disruption to motorists during the project.
• Soft Landscaping: Integrating the roads into the natural environment.
