Sidlaw Primary is a replacement school built adjacent to the original school in Harestane Road, Dundee. Kilmac’s scope of works include earthworks, foundations, drainage, retaining walls, attenuation systems, roads, carparks, soft and hard landscaping.
Project Highlights
- We installed a 4 meter high, 40 meter long reinforced concrete retaining wall which divided the playground. This wall was a feature wall with a textured imprint finish. Due to the high standard of workmanship the wall has now been featured in the texture finish formwork suppliers advertising brochure.
- Due to the poor clay sub soils, the construction of temporary construction roads to accommodate the HGV construction traffic during this project was crucial to the success of the project. Kilmac designed and installed these roads.
