Kilmac Ltd have been contracted to undertake the Groundworks Package to enable the re-development of an existing commercial premise into a retail unit for Aldi Stores.
Works have commenced on site with the staff car park and HGV access re-development works whilst the Demolition Contractor has been undertaking the partial demolition of the existing steel portal frame building to provide Aldi Store with a unit in keeping with their corporate sales model.
On completion of the demolition works Kilmac will be proceeding with the internal alterations including breaking out and reinstatement of ground floor slabs at a lower level and the installation of below ground drainage for chiller units.
Works will then follow on with the excavation and installation of foundations for the new gable elevation and canopy.
Externally new tar footpaths and slabbed areas are to be constructed along with porous block car parking bays, tar circulation area and complete realignment of the car park and drainage layout.
