Construction of a 7 story student accommodation in Aberdeen City Centre. Kilmac’s scope of works include earthworks, foundations, drainage, attenuation systems, and hard landscaping.
Project Highlights
- The building footprint covered almost the entire site, therefore programming the construction phasing was key, particular attention was given to the installation sequence of the foundations.
- Due to the depth of foundations and adjacent ground levels Kilmac had to carry out extensive underpinning and trench fill operations.
- Due to the lack of a site storage compound, Kilmac had to carefully plan all deliveries taking cognisance of the limited space whilst ensuring the required materials were available for construction.
