Kilmac are pleased to announce the successful award of main groundworks package from Muir Construction Ltd, to form an extension to a blood testing facility in Livingston. The facility is looking to expand the internal floor area of their test centre; construct new dock leveller access and yard area; as well as to increase the capacity of their existing car park.
Kilmac are looking forward to continuing our relationship with our repeat Client, Muir Construction on this venture. Works undertaken by Kilmac on this contract include, but not limited to:
· Final excavation to new formation levels
· Earthworks cut and fill across numerous areas of the site
· Construction of both pad and strip foundations
· Casting of holding down bolt sets
· In-situ concrete retaining walls and dock-leveller bay
· Waterproofing DPM systems
· Preparation works to below both internal and external concrete slabs
· Main service tracks and duct installation
· Main drainage installation
· Installation of Petrol Interceptors and flow control devices
· Forming new car parking facilities with new full construction roads and paved parking bays
