We were delighted to welcome Rhys Wilson, formerly of Grove Academy, back to Kilmac for a further work placement within our Commercial Department.
Following his previous time with the business, Rhys returned to build on the knowledge and experience he had already gained. During the placement, he supported our commercial teams with their day-to-day activities, gaining further insight into the important role the department plays in the successful delivery of civil engineering and groundworks projects.
The placement gave Rhys another opportunity to develop his practical skills, confidence and understanding of the commercial career pathways available within the construction industry.
At Kilmac, we recognise the value of providing meaningful and progressive work placements. By welcoming young people back for further experience, we can help them build on their existing skills, deepen their understanding of the industry and make informed decisions about their future careers.
Rhys begins university on Monday, and we would like to thank him for his contribution to the team and wish him the very best of luck as he starts this exciting new chapter.
