The Kilmac team have achieved another significant milestone in the build of the new Aldi store in Broughty Ferry, led by Projekt Construction. Despite facing some unexpected challenges, our dedicated team has worked tirelessly to overcome obstacles and keep the project on track.
One of the major achievements we're proud to highlight is the timely installation of foundations for the Aldi store. Meeting this key date ahead of the scheduled steel erection phase is a testament to our team's commitment to excellence and efficient project management.
In addition to the foundation milestone, we've successfully installed two attenuation tanks on site. These tanks, with a combined storage capacity of over 660m3, play a crucial role in managing stormwater runoff and ensuring environmental sustainability throughout the project lifecycle.
Of course, no construction journey is without its challenges. We encountered adverse weather conditions, including storms, which posed a significant threat to our timeline. However, through effective collaboration and proactive problem-solving, our team rallied together to mitigate the impact of these challenges and keep the project moving forward.
Teamwork Makes the Dreamwork
Our success in achieving these milestones amidst challenges underscores the power of teamwork and collaboration. Every member of our team, from site workers to project managers, played a pivotal role in overcoming obstacles and maintaining progress.
